U no peculiar smell which can put off. Fragrant for some, disagreeable to others, its fragrance can not be ignored. But rest assured the smell is not very pronounced, at least not enough to embalm (or stink, subjectivity requires) a piece. Personally, I find it intoxicating to the point of having developed a really Obsessive Com-pulsing which is to sniff the oil before each use.
S for thinner texture. Disconcerting at first use, but you end up getting done (or not!). One thing is sure: fans of castor oil are easily able to appreciate it.
R isk to bear comparison with the traditional oil carapate, manufactured in the West Indies (for those having already tested). Purists prefer the traditional version straight out of the West Indies.
