Forget the cut…just pile hair up for a dramatic change

It’s time to take up the bobby pins! An updo is the perfect look for special occasions, and it doesn’t have to be overly fussy to make a strong impact. Start by researching the look you want in hair and beauty magazines.

One style, two looks—all created by using the right products

This season’s hair of choice is striking, brilliant and versatile. Texture continues to reign, leading the season with picked out lengths and long, eye-skimming fringes that move flirtatiously across the face. Crisp, cool colors are paired with deep warmer pieces found underneath or in plain view for all to see.hair do

The basic style is a blunt cut in a rounded shape around the face (Photo 1). Color follows the shape with warm undertones starting at the nape of the neck, moving up to a light blond effect at the bangs.

Same cut and color but a dramatic change ; slick hair back with a wet transitional product, then through the front section, use a mousse then blow-dry the hair up and back. Smooth down with a styling gloss and finish with a medium to hard-hold hairspray.
